Ming Ying Hong

BIOGRAPHY

Ming Ying Hong is an interdisciplinary artist based in Providence, Rhode Island teaching at the Rhode Island School of Design. She has exhibited throughout the United States in spaces such as the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, Mildred Lane Kemper Museum in St. Louis, and CICA Museum in South Korea. In 2021, she was awarded a Robert M. Hearin Fellowship and was named the Mississippi State Fellow by South Arts while teaching at Mississippi State University.

Hong received her BFA from the University of Kentucky and was a Danforth Scholar at Washington University in St. Louis, where she received her MFA in visual art.
